Bone Conduction Headphone is a project whose industrial design activities were carried out by us for Gravity Engineering and Design. Thanks to the project developed considering the requirements of military operation procedures and situational awareness, the upper jaw bone is vibrated and the sound is transmitted to the inner ear.
Designed in accordance with MIL-STD 1472, military ergonomics standards. Many alternative studies were carried out throughout the design process, aiming to ensure military standards and a dynamic product language.
Increasing situational awareness is a targeted issue in all future military projects. In line with this vision, products that enable communication between units, taking into account the transfer disciplines, come to the fore. When combined with a laryngeal microphone, bone conduction headphones emerge as one of the most efficient forms of communication in both noisy and quiet environments. The designed product targets the military vision of the future with both its capabilities and visual design.
